What the integration uses

NameSTL receives the design settings you provide, such as name text, font, colors, base, thickness and placement. Previewing a design does not save a project to your account. Editing the preview shares the current design settings with the same conversation so ChatGPT can help refine it.

Connecting an account uses your NameSTL sign-in and your permission to access selected account features. Account records include your email, saved designs and the payment provider’s customer reference used to check existing export access. The plugin does not collect card details or start payments.

Storage and retention

Saved projects remain in your NameSTL account until you delete them or delete the account. Connection requests expire after ten minutes; authorization codes after one minute; access tokens after one hour; refresh tokens after thirty days; download links after ten minutes. Secret connection credentials and download grants are stored as hashes. Scheduled cleanup removes expired records.

To limit abusive requests, NameSTL stores salted hashes of network identifiers in short rate-limit buckets, retained for up to a day before scheduled cleanup. It does not store raw IP addresses in those buckets. The integration does not load the website’s advertising tags, analytics or session replay.

Service providers

OpenAI handles the conversation and plugin connection under its own policies. Supabase provides NameSTL authentication and database storage. Stripe checks existing NameSTL subscription access. The hosting provider serves the editor and may keep infrastructure and security logs under its own retention settings. Design settings are not sent to Stripe. Fonts, geometry assets and previews are served by NameSTL; file preparation happens in your browser.

Your controls

You choose when to save a design and when to export. You can delete saved projects and your account in NameSTL. To revoke the plugin’s account access, use connection controls. Removing the plugin in ChatGPT does not delete saved NameSTL projects. Conversation retention is controlled separately in ChatGPT.
